"Red Madou" is an original variety of Ehime prefecture, and the official variety name is "Ehime Fruit Test No. 28". 

The pericarp is dark orange and the size is about 200-250g. You can enjoy a rich flavor with a good aroma, high sugar content and a gentle acidity. The sac is very thin, the flesh is soft, juicy and has an excellent taste.

Beni-Mado is characterized by its dark skin color, so choose one that has a bright overall color, a glossy skin, and a freshness. Good products are those that feel heavy when held.
