Spain Donut Peach
This product is currently sold out.
The paraguayo is a cousin of the peach we are more accustomed with, but this fruit is not used in jams, pastries or cakes. Even in Spain they are often nicknamed 'doughnut peaches' because of their distinctive shape. They are sweeter than the normal yellow in colour peaches.
Taste: Their thin skins are yellow or orange and flushed with hues of ivory, rose, and rouge covered with a velvety finish. They have white flesh that is soft and juicy, surrounding a non-clinging, easy to remove, pit. Donut Peaches are low in acid with a candy-like sweetness and notes of almond.
