The tangelo, Citrus × tangelo, is a citrus fruit hybrid of a Citrus reticulata variety such as mandarin orange or a tangerine, and Citrus maxima variety, such as a pomelo or grapefruit. The name is a portmanteau of 'tangerine' and 'pomelo'.
